Delegation of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Republic of Moldova and the Council of Europe visits the Supreme Court of Estonia

On 20–21 January, the Supreme Court of Estonia will host a 15-member delegation from the Supreme Court of Justice of the Republic of Moldova and the Council of Europe. The purpose of the visit is to get to know the structure of the Estonian judicial system and the organisation of the work of the Supreme Court.

 
The role of constitutional courts in guaranteeing the rule of law and human rights

The Venice Commission, in cooperation with the Constitutional Court of Armenia and the Directorate General for Human Rights and Rule of Law of the Council of Europe, organised an international conference in Yerevan, Armenia, on 14–15 November to discuss the role of constitutional courts in ensuring the rule of law and human rights.

Estonian courts welcome European colleagues

Judges from five foreign countries visited Estonian courts and law enforcement authorities from 16 to 20 September. Judges from the Netherlands, France, Italy, Bulgaria and Romania participated in the exchange programme of the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN).
